Neoga’s chapter of the National Honor Society is planning a fundraising night at Culvers’ Restaurant in Effingham. The members will be working from 5-8 PM on Wednesday, April 4th to raise money for their club. Culvers has agreed to donate 10% of their profits in exchange for their work. Please come and enjoy a meal at Culvers to show your support!

Advanced Math students Travis Walk, Kamryn Boarman, Bailey Dow, Jesika Warner, and Trevor Walk wear their pi shirts that they wore to commemorate Pi Day (3-14). Jesika was the winner of the contest sponsored by Math Club for the best designed pi shirt and received a gift card for a pie from Niemerg’s Restaurant. Math Club also held a “slice of pie” sale during lunch and handed out pi pencils with the pie.

Maddie Gibson and Olivia Ott are watching one of the many activities at the University of Illinois Engineering Open House. Math Club members and the Advanced Math class attended the event which is held to promote careers in engineering.
